Popular Egyptian forward player for Liverpool F.C, Mohamed Salah, is an icon in his home country. In mid-2018, Salah’s home address was leaked on social media after a fan followed him home from prayer. What resulted was crowds of hundreds of people gathered outside his Cairo residence, which meant Salah’s family had to be evacuated by the police.
Although the details of his home are not publicly known, every time he visits Eygpt, the streets are packed with adoring fans awaiting his arrival. Salah was recently announced as the new captain of Egypt’s national football team and aims to help the team qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
