Dana Hill – Type 1 diabetes

Dana Hill was one of the most in-demand child stars, starring in comedies like National Lampoon’s European Vacation. She also voiced Jerry the mouse in Tom and Jerry: The Movie, which was her last acting project, unfortunately.
She battled type 1 diabetes for most of her life, and she finally passed away due to complications arising out of her disease at 32 years old.
Alice Playten – Heart Failure
Alice Playten made a career out of her childlike voice with credits for animated films like Ladybug Ladybug, My Little Pony: The Movie, and Doug’s 1st Movie. She also performed in several off-broadway productions, including Shlemiel the First. Her last recorded acting credit was in the 2009 movie The rebound.
Playten checked into the Manhattan-based Sloan-Kettering Hospital, but she passed away in June 2011 from heart failure. She battled with juvenile diabetes throughout her life, and it got worse when she developed pancreatic cancer. The Second Stage Theater honored Playten’s memory in November 2011 with a retrospect of her work.
Jeffrey Dahmer – Beaten to Death by Cell Inmate
Jeffrey Dahmer is regarded as one of America’s most horrific serial killers. Eventually, after pleading guilty to the charges of rape, murder, and dismemberment, he was subjected to rigorous 15 life sentences in 1992 but went on to serve only three years. Dahmer was, in fact, beaten to death by Christopher Scarver, a fellow inmate, on November 28, 1994.
His story is so horrifying and yet intriguing that it became the premise of a Netflix documentary series narrating the heinous crimes committed by a seemingly stoic fellow, “Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes,” and an Evan Peters-starred scripted series, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.”
