Patrick Leahy and Marcelle Pomerleau – Together for 60 years
Patrick Leahy is an American politician and senior senator of the United States. He has also served as the president pro tempore of the country from 2012 to 2015, and in 2021, he announced his retirement. On the other hand, his wife Marcelle Pomerleau served as a nurse and now is on the board of the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Leahy and Pomerleau have been together for over half a century. They met in the park on Lake Champlain when he was 19 while she was 17. They have three children together, a daughter and two sons, and their five grandchildren whom they love spending time with.
