Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff – Together for 8 years

Kamal Harris is the 49th and the first woman vice president of the United States of America, and Doug Emhoff is an entertainment lawyer. In 2013, one of Harris’s friends, Chrisette Hudlin, set them up and sent them on a blind date, and after spending time together and understanding each other, these lovebirds decided to get married the same year.

In an interview, Emhoff said that he proposed to Harris in a very unromantic conversation, but luckily, it went well, and they got married and have been happily together for eight years. The couple does not have children together; however, Emhoff has two children from his previous marriage.
