Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, better identified by his stage name Nas, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and business entrepreneur. Rooted in the New York hip hop scene, he is widely considered one of the greatest and most successful rappers of all time.
In the 2005, Nas married R&B vocalist Kelis in Atlanta after a relationship of two years. On April 30, 2009, it was confirmed by a spokesperson that Kelis had filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
