Andrew O’Keefe – Undisclosed Annual Salary
Now it’s not uncommon for lawyers to work on TV, especially as expert analysts in the political arena. But that’s not how it worked for Andrew O’Keefe. He started his career as a lawyer, working in intellectual property law for a firm called Allens Arthur Robinson.
But when he moved into television in 2003, it was for a Seven Network comedy sketch show called Big Bite. This put him in line for his next significant role as host of the Australian version of Deal or No Deal. He was also the host of The Chase but was replaced by Larry Emdur after his contract with Seven Network expired in 2020.
