We Slack- And That Is Okay

They say we are our biggest critics; we know the extent of our talents and when we slack off. This is one character that Jerry Garcia embodied when he admitted in an interview that his band, “Grateful Dead,” did not give a satisfactory performance at Woodstock.

Yet, the blame is not all on the rock band. Most of the glitches they endured at the festival came from bad weather, poor setup, and too much crowd on stage. The people behind wanted to fix the electrical ground, their heavy equipment barely fitted well, and the rain was causing a flood. Nevertheless, the band did their best to treat the audience.
