You could say Russell Skelton and Virginia Trioli are perfect for each other. While Triolli is a well-known journalist and presenter on ABC Radio Melbourne, Skelton is a contributing editor of The Age newspaper and the head of ABC’s fact-checking unit. In a sense, their skills are very complementary and useful to each other.

But for this couple, it’s clearly more than the fact that they’re in related lines of work. They’ve been married since 2003, and they care enough to keep their union under wraps.
