Waleed Aly And Susan Carland – Together Since 2002
Waleed Aly is a broadcaster and author who is a lecturer in politics at Monash University and a co-host of “The Project” on Channel 10. Aly met his wife, Dr. Susan Carland, when she was just 16 years old and when Aly proposed to her, she refused. However, she said yes after contemplation, and the pair walked down the aisle in 2002 on the Melbourne Zoo lawns.
The pair has already clocked close to two decades and share two children, Aisha and Zayed. When Aly was declared the winner of the TV Week Gold Logie, he dedicated the award to Carland and had the entire Australia swooning over their love.
