As part of a wealthy clan, Chevy Chase was already wealthy even before making it big in Hollywood. His mother was part of the Crane family, which owns a Connecticut-based industrial products company. Still, the National Lampoon’s Vacation actor worked hard to earn himself a fortune that’s worth $50 million today.
While it’s not known exactly how much money he takes home yearly these days, he’s experienced some impressive paydays in the past. Chase was reportedly paid $6 million for the 1989 family comedy film National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. He last starred in the 2021 animated feature Panda Vs. Aliens.
