The Feline Fantasy That Fooled Us All
This incredible feline-shaped “island” has made waves online, but let’s set the record straight—it’s pure Photoshop brilliance. While the image of this cat-like landmass may tug at your imagination, no such island exists in real life. There is, however, a Cat Island in the Bahamas, but it’s named after pirate Arthur Catt, not for resembling a whiskered friend.
Despite the rumors, this digitally enhanced drone image is nothing more than a playful nod to cat lovers everywhere. The real Cat Island is a tropical haven, minus the kitty-shaped coastlines. So, while you won’t find any purring shorelines, it’s still a pretty dreamy destination.
