Eilish McColgan and Michael Rimmer

Scottish middle-distance runner Eilish McColgan found a match with her boyfriend, Michael Rimmer, who happens to be in athletics as well. However, their relationship was tested heavily when a private video of them was leaked in December 2020. This happened as a result of the hacking of their Apple iCloud storage.

And it looks like the three-time Olympian still can’t catch a break months later. In July 2021, McColgan failed to qualify for the 5,000-meter distance finals in Tokyo. Fortunately, she’ll have another shot to medal when she competes at the 10,000-meter event. Knowing how supportive Rimmer has been of his girlfriend, he’d surely be cheering her on.
