Andrew Butchart and Lynsey Sharp
If there’s one thing track and field Olympians Andrew Butchart and Lynsey Sharp love more than running fast, it’s loving each other. And now, they’re gearing to make the ultimate commitment after getting engaged in 2019 following their return to Scotland.
What’s more, the pair recently shared some good news in May 2021. Butchart, who holds the Scottish records for the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter distances, announced that he and Sharp are expecting their first child together. In the photo, the women’s 800-meter runner can be seen happily showing off a copy of a pregnancy ultrasound.
