Paula Radcliffe and Gary Lough

Paula Radcliffe certainly knows a thing or two about going the distance. After all, she is a three-time London Marathon winner. There’s also the fact that she’s been married to Gary Lough, who was also a competitive runner, for going on 20 years as of 2021.

They first met while at Loughborough University and wed each other in 2001. Making the perfect team, Lough even coached Radcliffe during her marathon career before he moved on to become Olympian Mo Farah’s coach. Their union was tested in 2020, though, when their teen daughter Isla was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
