Jane Hazlegrove, 52
Jane Hazlegrove is an openly gay actress who was listed in the 2012 World Pride Power List as one of the 100 most influential LGBT people of the year. She also played a gay character Kathleen “Dixie” Dixon, in The medical drama series, Casualty.
Besides Casualty, she also held roles in sitcoms like Making Out, Silent Witness, and London Is Burning. She also had small roles in Jonathan Creek, The Bill, Doctors, and another medical drama series called Holby City. In 2019 she joined the cast of Coronation Street permanently, playing Bernie Winter.
