Bill Curbishley, 79
We’re not sure how he did it, but Bill Curbishley did what longstanding manager Peter Grant couldn’t. He got former Led Zeppelin bandmates Jimmy Page and Robert Plant to work together again for the first time since they disbanded in 1978. This resulted in the creation of a successful live album called No Quarter.
Curbishley’s accomplishments don’t stop there; he is also renowned for managing bands like The Who and Judas Priests. He recently served as producer on short videos like Nick Cave, Cosmic Dancer, and Borns and Dawn Storm. He is also working on a film about the life of Keith Moon with Roger Daltrey of The Who.
