The word ‘retirement’ doesn’t feature in Leslie Phillips’ vocabulary as he nears a century on earth. Well, what’s age got to do with acting anyways? He is still passionate about bringing varied characters to life on screen, specifically wanting to play a villain. Leslie would have fun portraying a baddie with the face of a fine gentleman.

In 1935, he started performing on stage as a child actor. Since then, the versatile actor has starred in over a hundred movies and hundred more theatrical productions. His notable works include the ‘Carry On’ films and ‘Venus.’ The younger generation would be thrilled to know that he voiced the Sorting Hat in the ‘Harry Potter’ films.
