We have always seen Yoko Ono meticulously tending to her late husband, John Lennon’s music legacy. She was truly an inspiration to his musical genius during their marriage. Are you aware that the beautiful artist was the one to provide the concept and lyrics for the famous song ‘Imagine’; it was only in 2017 that her contribution was officially acknowledged.
Over the years, Yoko has created art pieces and showcased them in galleries and museums around the world. The ‘Wish Tree’ series of 1981 is one of her most renowned installations. Sadly, aging and ill health has slowed her down in the past few years enough to keep her out of the spotlight.
