Comedian Roy Walker is a Northern Irish television personality who served as a presenter. His primary achievement was hosting the game show “Catchphrase” between 1986 and 1999. During these years, he peaked on the list of the highest-paid TV stars.
After being the comedy partner of James Young for a while, he assumed a hiatus and went to serve in the British Army for seven years. In 1977, he won the ITV talent show “New Faces,” the highest mark ever given to a comedian. His fans have been enjoying his screen presence for over four decades. He is the father of the Olivier Award-nominated theatre actress Josie Walker.
