Rita Tushingham, 79
Rita Tushingham gained prominence for her role in the film A Taste of Honey. Her performance in the 1962 film earned her a BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Cannes Film Festival Award. It also opened more doors to other major films like The Leather Boys, The Knack…and How to Get It and Smashing Time.
Her stage resumé is equally impressive and includes roles in films like The Changeling, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Twelfth Night. In later years she was seen in movies like Under the Skin and Being Julia. She is set to star in an upcoming 2021 film called Last Night in Soho.
