Geoffrey McGivern, 69
Geoffrey McGivern is the radio star that video couldn’t kill. He was still starring in a radio series of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy on BBC radio between 1978 to 1980. He even returned for four more series broadcast on BBC Radio 4 between 2004 and 2018.
He did get involved in the video though. He had a role in the first series of the sketch show Big Train. He also had a stint on the sci-fi comedy Hyperdrive and indulged in more comedy shenanigans on A Bit of Fry and Laurie. In 2021 he starred in a TV series called Back and an upcoming role in the film Synced.
