June Ritchie, 80
British actress June Ritchie had a whirlwind career that included several notable roles on stage and screen. She graduated from the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art in 1961 with the Emile Littler Award for Most Promising Actress under her arm.
She played Margaret Rutherford in The Mouse on the Moon, which she followed up with The World Ten Times Over opposite Sylvia Syms. She cut back on her screen work after starting a family but returned to the stage where she was hailed for her part in a stage production of Gone With The Wind. She retired in 1988 after a role in Ruth Rendell Mysteries.
