Maggie Smith, 86
To modern viewers, Maggie Smith will always be remembered as Professor Minerva McGonagall from the Harry Potter movies. She famously taught the witches and wizards their first spell, the famous Wingardium Leviosa. But has a far more diverse resumé since her career started way back in 1952.
She is regarded as one of Britain’s most recognized actresses and has starred in over 60 films and 70 plays. She had notable roles in 1976’s Death On The Nile and 1981’s Clash of the Titans. She also has two Oscars for her roles in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and California Suite. She is currently filming parts for Downton Abbey 2.
