Does Riotta sound cooler than Ricotta? We don’t know, but Vincenzo Riotta chose the former over the latter as his birth last name. Some of his notable stage production include Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire, The Corsican Brothers, and Fridays at Seven.
On the small screen, he gained recognition for his role in Coronation Street and The bill and also had episodic parts in American shows like JAG, Monk, and Alias. He has made similar appearances in Captain Corelli’s Mandolin but had a prominent role in Under The Tuscan Sun. Work recently finished a 2021 film he has a role in called Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
