Robin Roberts and Amber Laign’s relationship has been nothing short of a fairytale since they met on a blind date in 2005. After remaining largely private for eight years, Roberts came out to the public as gay in 2013, a decision she said was deeply personal, and proudly introduced Laign as her partner to the world.

Their journey only continued to dazzle fans when Roberts appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” the following year, where she spoke candidly about her and Laign’s relationship. They remain relatively private today, but they resurface occasionally, such as when Roberts announced in 2023 that they were engaged and ready for marriage.
