George Takei and Brad Altman
George Takei and Brad Altman had a storybook romance spanning over three decades to their magical wedding day in 2008. It all started in the 1980s in a gay club in Los Angeles when Takei gazed upon the dashingly, good-looking Altman and immediately knew his heart belonged to him. Despite the prejudice and fear of the time, the two bravely and proudly chose love.
After much planning and preparation, Takei and Altman said “I do” in 2008, surrounded by friends and family. “Star Trek” fans would have surely been especially thrilled to witness Takei’s long-held love story come to fruition.
