Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli’s romance is an inspiring love story. The two met in 2012 on the set of the Netflix show, “Orange Is the New Black,” where Morelli was a writer and Wiley a star. At the time, Morelli had a husband but later realized she was gay. She and “The Handmaid’s Tale” star quickly became friends, and their friendship soon blossomed into love.
After three years of dating, the lovebirds married in Palm Springs, California, in 2017. The ceremony was complete with a gorgeous arch of flowers and beautiful decorations. Wiley and Morelli welcomed their daughter George in 2021, completing the family with two dogs.
