Billy Connolly (78) – £14 Million
Billy Connolly made a career out of cracking people up, and he has £14M to show for it. He broke into the industry as a budding musician and achieved fame as part of The Humblebums. Comedy beckoned once again, and he even tried his luck at acting. He quit comedy in 2018, choosing to focus on being an artist instead.
In 2020, he unveiled Born On A Rainy Day, which is his fifth installment. The BBC also aired a six-episode documentary series titled Billy and Us based on his life. Connolly isn’t at his best these days, having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
