Brad Renfro – Drug Overdose
An accidental overdose claimed the life of Brad Renfro when he was just 25 years old. His lifeless body was found at the apartment he owned in Los Angeles in January 2008. Coroners concluded that his death was a result of acute morphine/heroin inebriation. Tragedy struck once again when Renfro’s grandmother Joanne passed away just seventeen days after his death.
The 1994 legal thriller The Client marked his screen debut at the age of 11. He didn’t have any prior acting experience, but it opened up the doors to more roles in films like Sleepers and The Cure. The 2008 short film Collector was his last credit before he died.
