Eddie Large – COVID-19
Little and Large were a comedic duo made up of Syd Little and the late Edward Hugh McGinnis. He went by the stage moniker Eddie Large and previously, and as a double act, the pair graced several comedy shows. They headlined The Little and Large Show on BBC1 from 1978 to 1991.
McGinnis teamed up with English footballer Mark Little between 2010-11 to form the new Little and Large. McGinnis checked into the Southmead Hospital to receive medical care for heart issues. He contracted COVID-19 and passed away in April 2020 at the age of 78. Syd Little attended the funeral held at the South Bristol Crematorium.
