Barbara Windsor – Alzheimer’s Complications
EastEnders dedicated the episode aired on December 11, 2020, to Dame Barbara Windsor. She died at the age of 83 from complications brought about by Alzheimer’s disease, and her funeral took place in January 2021. The floral decorations laid on her coffin read “The Dame Saucy.”
The program for the fay included the famous photo of Windsor from Carry On Camping. 31 movies released between 1958 to 1992 collectively made up the Carry On films. Windsor was one of the regular stars featured in the films, and the 1969 iteration of the film is her best-known known credit.
