Avril Lavigne – Hockey

“Sk8r Boi”? More like Sk8r Girl. By the age of two, singer Avril Lavigne was in ice skates. She started skating quite early on and her love for the sport continued even when she became a superstar. She would take her rollerblades on tour so she could play hockey.

Ice Hockey is the national sport of Canada and that is where Lavigne hails from so it makes sense she took up the sport. She’s mostly focused on her music these days and in 2022 she released the song, “Love it When You Hate Me.”
