For the most part, children look up to their parents as heroes, and at some point, they’d love to follow in their footsteps. One person who has successfully picked up after his dad is Max Brooks, who is an acclaimed actor in his own right, but more well-known as an accomplished zombie author.

Max charted his career to the top, writing several bestselling zombie books, including ‘World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War’ adapted into a movie. With his father Mel Brooks by his side, it’s not surprising that the actor has also achieved massive success in the literary and acting world.
