Matthew McConaughey – 42 Pounds – Meats & Greens

If ever there was an actor who commits to a role altogether, it’s silver screen star Matthew McConaughey who delivers no matter what is required. We’ve seen him in many movies with remarkably different appearances. Of those, one that stands out is his transformation for his role in the film Dallas Buyer’s Club.

McConaughey lost a whopping forty-two pounds to play the part by sticking to a diet of leafy green vegetables and lean meats, and surprisingly, drinking wine! We wouldn’t recommend doing something like this without a doctor’s approval. Still, we’re confident that the production team made sure to get Matthew checked up by a physician regularly!
