Zack and Miri Make a P*rno (2008)
What would you do if you went bankrupt? In Miri and Zack’s case, after their financial woes, the two friends decide to make an adult movie to make ends meet. While the movie admittedly wouldn’t be remembered for its iconic dialogue-writing or storytelling, its crass, obscene humor makes up for an otherwise forgettable cinematic experience.
After initially receiving an NC-17 rating, Zack and Miri Make a P*rno was eventually deemed as rated R following an appeal from authorities. While theaters in Utah refused to screen it due to the film setting a bad example for youngsters, it was banned outright in countries like Trinidad and Tobago.
