It is no secret that the Islamic Republic of Iran has stunning women within its borders. We hardly get to see them, though, since their conservative culture means footage from the country always has women’s faces covered.
However, at the World Cup, things are different for them. That is because they get to express themselves more, like the woman in the picture who has her face exposed and even painted. The Iranian football team has been pretty successful as well, winning three Asian Cups and also qualifying for six World Cup tournaments, including 2022. They have yet to make it out of the group stages.
