Denmark
Denmark’s football history can be separated into two distinctive achievements: The first is winning the European Championships in 1992, despite not actually qualifying for the tournament and only being invited because Yugoslavia was disqualified due to the ongoing conflict in the country. The feat surprised the world and made superstars out of their players.
The second was at Euro 2020, when their players rallied to save the life of their star player Christian Eriksen after he suffered a cardiac arrest during a match. The other is their dedicated supporters, who travel with them all over the world when they play tournaments, including the 2022 World Cup.
