Lindsey Vonn from Minnesota is one of the greatest skiers. To doubt this would be denying the plethora of wins she’s garnered throughout her impressive career. In fact, with 82 World Cup wins, she even surpassed Annemarie Moser-Poll of Austria, who previously held the record for most victories at the World Cup.

Vonn learned how to ski at the hands of her grandfather, and later on, she joined the U.S. ski team. Having grown up with a taste for excellence, she devoted her efforts to climbing up the ranks. Then in 2000, she made her World Cup debut at age 16. In 2022, Vonn released her memoir, “Rise: My Story.”
