Completing The Task
Judging by the anaconda’s weak but noticeable movements, the workers deduced that it was not dead. It was simply too fragile to resist. But that was troubling all the same. However, this also meant that they could complete the vet’s task without any trouble.
They called the specialist again, and she instructed them on how to locate the snake’s stomach. A snake’s digestive system runs through its entire length, but its stomach is explicitly located somewhere in the mid-torso. Upon learning this information, the workers checked to see if the snake’s bulge was in the stomach. What they discovered instead was shocking.
