Actor Martin Short came from a family of musicians, so pursuing a career in comedy was probably a surprise for his parents. Nonetheless, he successfully earned a massive fortune in what he does as he now has an estimated net worth of $40 million for which he uses to fund his charity works.

The Primetime and Tony Award-winner may be 71, but it seems that retirement is not on his mind nowadays. After playing the leprechaun in the show Schmigadoon! Short, who is also a prolific theater actor, will play Oliver in this year’s Only Murders in the Building.
