From starring in Goodness Gracious Me television show to sharing a home for sixteen years, Meera Syal and Sanjeev Bhaskar’s love story sounds like a work of fiction. The two met on the set of the show in 1996 but remained friends, and since Meera was married at the time, no romance blossomed.
Yet, fate had other ideas for them, as Syal divorced her then-husband in 2002, and three years later, she walked down the aisle with Sanjeev.
