Cathy Newman and John O’Connell – Together for 19 Years

Cathy Newman’s career led her to work for the Financial Times, Media Week, and The Independent. She joined Channel 4 in 2006 and continues to work as a presenter for the broadcasting station. As an author, she penned Bloody Brilliant Women in 2018 and followed through with the 2020 publication It Takes Two.

Neman met John O’Connell when they both attended the University of Oxford. They got married in 2001 and now share two children. The English journalist recounted having a miscarriage and that she also chose to terminate a 13-week pregnancy after finding out that her unborn child suffered from a rare condition.
