Sarah Baxter and Jez Coulson – Together for an Unknown Number of Years

Sarah Baxter served as The Sunday Times deputy editor between 2013 to 2020. She attended St. Hilda’s College, where she majored in modern history. After graduating in 1981, Baxter worked as a copywriter for Penguin Books before joining Virago Press. She also worked as an editor for publications like Time Out and The Observer.

Baxter joined The Sunday Times as the publication’s News Review section editor before serving as their New York-based correspondent in 2001 before becoming a Washington correspondent in 2005. Photographer Jez Coulson is her husband, and they share two children.
