Noeline Brown (83) – Sydney, New South Wales

Noeline Brown is an icon of the Australian television and comedy scene. She began her career with “Phillip Street Revues” and other performances at the Phillip Street Theatre. But she found fame in the ’60s after joining the cast of “The Mavis Bramston Show.” She also starred alongside Judi Farr, Gordon Chater, and John Meillon on “My Name’s McGooley.”

Brown had already cemented her notoriety in the industry when she played Leonara Biviano in the 2007 Australian mockumentary “Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance.” Finally, in 2008, she also earned a Norman Kessell award for best performance for her portrayal of Florence Foster Jenkins in “Glorious.”
