Marcia Elaine Hines (69) – Boston, Massachusetts
Marcia Hines found fame in the Australian entertainment industry as an actress, vocalist, and television personality. At 16, she made her debut in a stage production of “Hair,” making her the youngest performer in the world to play a featured role in any production of the play.
But she gained even more recognition in 1973 when she played ‘Mary Magdalene’ in the Australian production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Hines is also a successful musical artist, and her hit singles include covers of “I Just Don’t Know What to Do with Myself” and “Fire and Rain.” In 2007, she was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
