Maggie Dence (80) – Victoria, Australia

Maggie Dence may be popular among fans of Australian television, but not many are aware that she made her debut on stage. At age 16, her compelling performances in different plays endeared her to theatre audiences in Sydney.

Though Dence flitted across different theater companies, she did most of her acting with the Nimrod Theatre Company. Dence gained even more notoriety when she diverted her talents to television, and she’s appeared in shows like “Kingswood Country” and “The Sullivans.” Dence doesn’t intend to give up her passion any time soon. And in 2021, played Mrs. Atkins in “The Legend of Molly Johnson.”
