Tom Oliver (84) – Hampshire, England
Tom Oliver had already discovered his love for acting while in England. So once he emigrated to Australia, he fell back on the skills he’d honed while performing in the theatre back home. He too on roles in drama series like “Homicide,” “Division 4,” “Matlock Police” and “Hunter.”
Oliver eventually landed his breakthrough role in “Number 96.” Though when he was cast to play the role of ‘Jack Sellars’, it was as a guest character. But his performance impressed the makers of the show, and he was given a regular spot in the serial. That said, Oliver’s most notable role remains Lou Carpenter in “Neighbours.”
