Carol Vorderman is well known for two reasons: she was the host of Countdown for 26 years, and she is a famous patron of the detox lifestyle. She has authored several educational and diet-related books and a load of books around her expertise in detox.
Like she treats her body, she also likes to treat the earth, and as such, she has become an environmentalist. This led to her partnering with car manufacturer Vauxhall on their Ampera model. The Ampera is a revered electric vehicle that won the 2013 Green award from Auto Express. In 2021 she acted as a judge on the cooking show The Great British Menu.
