David Bowie – $5.95 million, New York City
The late legendary David Bowie was renowned for making creatively charged music ahead of its time. But the creator of songs like Space Oddity, Life On Mars, and Rebel Rebel owned a simple New York apartment. He shared it with his supermodel wife, Iman.
The house in question is a cozy, 1,877-square-foot structure with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There is a bit of Bowie flavor on it with a uniquely structured 28-foot long living room overlooking Central Park. It was sold in 2021 for an apparent $5.95 million. Included in the sale was a Yamaha piano no doubt used by Bowie to make some tunes.
