China
The military of China employs the largest force in the world, with almost two million active soldiers. While it may sound a lot, these troops make up only about 0.14% of the total population of the country. Their budget for this defense and warfare makes up about $293 billion.
Similar to India, China is also weary of the attacks and hostility with its bordering nations, while it also has a beef with several other countries around the globe. Better known as the People’s Liberation Army in its native land, this army has gone to war several times in the past, including regular skirmishes with India including one in 2020.
